Under The Sea Inspired

Jonathan & Becky's Under the Sea Inspired wedding in October was simply charming and unique!  Pops of aqua and coral were found throughout the wedding and under the sea inspired textures were used from the flowers to the Bengaline Linens. You will see how FH Weddings took Becky and Jon's vision and transformed the venue, incorporated the colors and textures that gave the look and feel of their Under the Sea inspired wedding!

Love the stationary design by Twitterpainted!

This gorgeous cake designed by was Lartisan Cake Atelier.

Love the folds in Becky's dress, creating a shell look and the details of her hair piece.

Becky wanted flowers that looked like under the sea.  We created this look by using flowers with unique textures such as the green Cockscomb, Dusty Miller, Fuji Mums and Mokara Orchids.

Such a fun couple!!!

Jonathan's boutonniere had a single Stephanotis bloom, Dusty Miller and Lycopodium.

Congratulations Becky & Jonathan!!!!

Intimate Backyard Affair

Lauren & Jonathan's October wedding was nothing short of spectacular!   Only months before their wedding date, they found out their venue had double booked, so they had to search for another venue.  It didn't take long for them to realize that finding a venue in that short of notice was going to be difficult.  Instead they moved the celebration to their own backyard.  Mandy and Me Studio captured the intimate affair and our sunny hues of yellow and centerpieces filled with Dahlias and Succulents.

Small mason jars hung with twine on the guest chairs and were overflowing with Cattylea Orchids, Mokara Orchids and a touch of Rosemary.

We loved the idea of long table settings with taupe table linens, white napkins and accented with a bright yellow Fuji Mum.  Round, matte silver bowls were filled with white Dahlia's and large Succulents.

Lovely, isn't it?!!

Lauren's bouquet was a simple, elegant bouquet of Garden Roses and wrapped with twine.

Cheers!  Congratulations Lauren & Jonathan!  We wish you a lifetime of happiness and love!

Lavender Love

Our lavender photo shoot took place at Tampa Bay Watch, a quaint light house perched on the shoreline of Cunningham Key, right before Fort De Soto Park in Tierra Verde, Florida.  We fell in love with this venue because it embodies the traditional Florida coastal architecture. We also love Tampa Bay Watch for their mission to protect and restore the marine and wetland environments of the Tampa Bay. Our color scheme of purple hues was only enhanced by silver accents and shimmering diamonds. Vanda Orchids made the purple pop in every picture. The details are what brought everything together.

The brides bouquet was designed as a handheld but wanted to make it striking and different then what you always see.  I kept the stems long but also designed the vibrant purple Orchids to cascade down.  Touches of thin designer wire was inner weaved through out the bouquet.

My absolute favorite design was the silver frame.  Lush lavender Roses and vibrant purple Orchids were designed on opposite corners of the silver frame and dripped with crystals.  Not only was this frame designed for the table setting but also for the ceremony where it brought elegance and an amazing focal point.

FH Weddings photo shoot embodies a complete look of elegance, casualness yet with sophistication.

A huge "Thank You" to all the vendors who helped with our shoot!

French Cafe Shoot

This styled photo shoot was done at a quaint French Bakery in south Tampa. Sophie's style of eclectic vintage furniture and chandeliers along with the delicious aroma of fresh baked goodies made the perfect setting. Fresh blush Garden Roses, Queen Annes Lace and Dahlias were lovely set inside a posh vase and smaller tea vases. Deep purples and soft pinks were also used to make a vintage glam statement. Soft, inviting and charming will best describe this styled shoot. Curl up on the couch with a latte and dream of a cozy charmed wedding.

We designed this lush bridal bouquet of soft pink Garden Roses, purple Sweet Pea and deep purple Vanda Orchids.

If your looking for a softer vintage look, then this is the bouquet for you!  Lovely Queen Anne's Lace, Garden Roses, Dahlias and Hellebores.

Sit down for a cup of tea!  Dainty white glass pitchers overfilling with picturesque florals, lace doilies and soft candle light created a intimate setting.

Looking for an extravagant  glam look?  This two tier centerpiece held a layer of flowers at the bottom and a larger bouquet of flowers on top.  Diamond crystals draped down to finish off this glamorous look.

Our beautiful model, Carly stepped behind the counter for a few rapide photos!  Such a fun shoot!

We always adore working with Rana with Roohi Photography!  She is AMAZING!  A huge THANK YOU to Sophies Cafe and French Bakery for allowing us to take over their cafe for a few hours and Thank you to Cindy with White Closet for providing the gorgeous dress!  Carly our model was amazing and a fabulous make up artist!

Winter Bouquet

As winter approaches I am reminded of a wedding we did last January 2011 at the Powel Crosley Mansion in Sarasota, FL.  Whitney's bouquet was breathtaking!  All the natural elements created a stunning bouquet.  Stephanie Smith Photography captured the details of the day and florals with amazing photography!

You can see more of Whitney and Zac's wedding on our website under Portfolio, "Woodsy Organic".

Whitney bouquets had Dusty Miller, Balsa Wood, Raw Cotton, Seeded Eucalyptus, Silver Brunia, Lily Pods, Pheasant and Guinea feathers.

I love Whitney's response to seeing her bouquet for the first time!  It was so rewarding!

Casa Monica Wedding

This gorgeous St. Augustine wedding can only be described as classic, timeless, elegant and downright fabulous. The rich color scheme of ivories and deep burgundies made a stunning and romantic affair.

Rachael and Geoff’s elegant wedding took place at the historic Casa Monica Hotel in St. Augustine, Florida. The rich décor, tapestries and chandeliers only enhanced the beauty of the floral décor.

Julie with Chic Designs & Fabulous Events did an amazing job with the wedding planning from beginning to end and Jenn Hopkins Photography captured the details and emotions of the day. Rachael and Geoff's day was a unforgetable!!!

Rachael's soft and lush bouquet had Peonies, Garden Roses, Astilbe and Lily of the Valley.

To compliment the navy bridesmaids dresses, rich burgundy Peonies and Cymbidium Orchids were used in a simple and elegant bouquet.

Congratulations Rachael and Geoff!!!!
